The Accreditation Manager will play a key role within the Certification Division, overseeing the administrative requirements of MRAG Americas’ various accredited certification schemes. Currently, MRAG Americas holds ISO 17065-consistent accreditations to audit and assess companies for conformance with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and Responsible Fishery Management (RFM) Fisheries Standards, as well as the MSC, RFM, and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Chain of Custody Standards. We will also soon be adding the FISH Standard for Crew, a social accountability standard for fishing vessels, with potential for more accreditations in the future. This role is essential in ensuring MRAG Americas continues to meet the accreditation requirements for all schemes while maintaining a high level of quality assurance and control. The Accreditation Manager will coordinate with our accreditation bodies, including the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and Assurance Services International (ASI), collaborate with internal teams, and participate in both internal and external audits.
